Microsoft Dynamics NAV uses this formula to calculate the amount from the comparison period in relation to the period represented by the date filter on the report request.
For example, if the field is set to -1Y, Microsoft Dynamics NAV compares to the same period 1 year earlier.
If you want to calculate by accounting periods, you must enter a formula in the Comparison Period Formula field.
